ATLANTA, GA — St. Pius X Catholic High School junior Conley Goodlife is gaining attention as one of the most versatile athletes in the Class of 2027 high school football circuit. Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 175 pounds, the Atlanta wide receiver and cornerback prospect impressed scouts at a recent Ohio State University football camp, lining up on both sides of the ball and showing signs of elite potential.
Goodlife made his initial mark last season as a dynamic high school wide receiver, showcasing exceptional hands, body control, and the ability to stretch the field. Now, heading into the 2025 season, he’s adding cornerback to his résumé—bringing physicality, footwork, and a sharp football IQ to the defensive side.
During drills and 7-on-7 action at Ohio State, Goodlife proved disruptive as a nickel corner, using his length and instincts to blanket receivers and shut down throwing lanes. His play forced hesitation from quarterbacks and disrupted rhythm among some of the region’s top young passers. That dual-threat versatility is what’s beginning to separate him from his peers.
“He’s got the tools and mentality to succeed anywhere on the field,” one camp coach noted. “What sets him apart is his willingness to embrace new challenges and master them.”
Back home at St. Pius, Goodlife is poised to become a two-way cornerstone in the team’s 2025 campaign. Coaches are already praising his leadership, discipline, and dedication to refining his game.
While college football recruiting offers haven’t landed yet, that may soon change. Goodlife’s performance and growth trajectory make him an increasingly attractive target for programs seeking multi-position talent in the secondary and offense.
For recruiters and fans scouting Georgia high school football, Conley Goodlife is a name to watch—and one that’s only just beginning to rise.
