The eyes of the football world will turn to metro Atlanta this December as elite talent from across the country descends on Georgia for one of the most anticipated youth football showcases of the year. Just days after Christmas, the SEC All-American Game will kick off Sunday morning at Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Georgia, just north of Atlanta—bringing together some of the nation’s highest-rated prospects in a can’t-miss matchup.
With players flying in from coast to coast—and even internationally—the event has quickly become a proving ground for tomorrow’s stars. Headlining the showcase are two nationally recognized 4-star prospects, KJ Green of metro Atlanta and Nehemiah Ombati of Minnesota, both ready to shine on a national stage.
Star Power at the Top
Leading the way is KJ Green, a 4-star athlete from Douglas County, widely regarded as the highest-rated player participating in this elite game. Green’s reputation goes far beyond his athletic ability. When asked about him, coaches and recruiters consistently highlight his character, leadership, and maturity as much as his playmaking skills. With over 20 Division I offers, including Florida State, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, USC (California), and USC (Carolina), Green is a cornerstone talent and a true headliner for this event.
Matching that star power in the trenches is Nehemiah Ombati, a massive 6’3, 4-star defensive lineman from Minnesota. Ombati brings size, strength, and explosiveness, holding notable offers from Iowa, Kansas, and Minnesota, among others. His presence alone changes the complexion of the defensive front and gives fans a glimpse of a future college game-wrecker.
Quarterbacks From Coast to Coast—and Beyond
The quarterback room is stacked with national and international talent.
Malcolm Matheson, a big-time quarterback flying in from Canada, adds a unique global element to the game. Joining him is Maykree Cross, a highly touted 2027 quarterback already holding offers from Auburn, Middle Tennessee State, and Georgia State. Also under center is Cannon Robinson, a 2028 QB who continues to rise after picking up recent offers from Auburn, Georgia State, and Georgia Southern.
Skill Position Firepower
In the backfield, Joel Bradford, a dynamic 2027 running back, headlines the ground attack with offers from UGA, Auburn, and Nebraska, showcasing elite speed and physicality.
The wide receiver group is equally dangerous.
Saif Bin-Wahad, a slippery slot receiver, brings quickness and precision with offers from North Texas and North Carolina Central, according to 247Sports.
Amir McBryde, an explosive slot threat, holds offers from Oklahoma State, Auburn, Northwestern, and North Carolina, per 247, and is known for his ability to change a game in one play.
Adding size to the perimeter is Langston Abernathy, a big-bodied 2027 wideout with offers from Troy and Toledo, also per 247Sports.
Defense Loaded With Playmakers
At linebacker, Brayden Paramore, a 2027 standout, brings sideline-to-sideline speed and physicality, holding offers from Arkansas State, Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, and Liberty, among others.
The defensive backfield is anchored once again by KJ Green, showcasing his versatility and elite instincts. He’s joined by Declan Delaporte, a hard-hitting 2028 defensive back with an offer from East Carolina University, and Lawrence Williams, a 2027 DB known for his coverage skills and holding an offer from EKU.
Size Up Front Wins Championships
At tight end, 6’4 Carter Harrod, a sleeper talent from Canada, brings size and athleticism that could surprise many in attendance.
The offensive line features Bryson Hurt, a 3-star lineman per 247Sports from Gainesville High School, boasting offers from Nebraska, North Carolina, Ole Miss, FIU, and South Florida—a true anchor in the trenches.
Defensively, Zayden Walters, a WKU commit, adds proven production to the defensive line alongside the dominant Nehemiah Ombati, forming a front that will challenge every offense in the game.
With elite prospects, national recruiting attention, and a post-Christmas spotlight, the SOUTHERN EXPOSURE All-American Game promises to be a celebration of talent, competition, and the future of football. Sunday morning in Suwanee, fans will witness the next wave of stars take the field—many of whom will soon be household names on Saturdays and beyond.
