Edmonton, AB – At 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds, Sincere Johnathan Love Ollivierre Agyen may not tower over the competition — but make no mistake, his game speaks volumes. A multi-sport standout at Harry Ainlay High School, Agyen is making a name for himself across Canada and beyond as a relentless force on the football field and a rising talent on the track.
A lockdown defensive back for Harry Ainlay’s varsity football team, Agyen’s 2024-2025 season was nothing short of explosive. He recorded 6 interceptions, 10 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles, 25 total tackles, and even returned one of those picks 70 yards for a touchdown. His instinctive play, physicality, and ability to read offenses have earned him a growing reputation as one of Alberta’s premier defensive backs.
The same athleticism translates seamlessly to track and field, where Agyen continues to excel — further demonstrating his speed, discipline, and elite conditioning.
But it didn’t start with football or track.
“My first sports were actually basketball and soccer,” Agyen says. “
College scouts have taken notice. Agyen currently holds three offers from Tennessee Tech, Tuskegee University, and Minot State, and his recruitment is expected to heat up as he heads into his senior season.
Coaches describe him as a high-IQ athlete with leadership qualities, and teammates praise his work ethic and energy on and off the field.
With his senior year on the horizon, Agyen remains focused: “It’s about getting better every day. The offers are great, but I’m hungry for more.”
Whether he’s locking down a receiver, making a game-changing play, or flying past the competition on the track, one thing is certain — Sincere Agyen is a name you’ll be hearing a lot more of in the years to come.
