Future Dawgs? Peachtree Ridge Standouts Visit Mississippi State During Arizona Matchup

STARKVILLE, Miss. – As Mississippi State battled Arizona this past weekend, the Bulldogs’ sideline saw more than SEC football. It saw the future. Legendary defensive coach Corey Bell, known nationally for his unmatched eye for talent, hosted a group of recruits from Peachtree Ridge High School (Ga.), giving these rising stars an inside look at life in Starkville.

Lamont “Big Moe” Brewton (Class of 2026)

Standing at a massive 6’4”, 325 pounds, Lamont “Big Moe” Brewton is the definition of a big-bodied lineman with next-level potential. Though the Peachtree Ridge product has yet to secure his first college offer, the buzz is building. Coaches who see him up close say it’s only a matter of time before programs pull the trigger.
This summer, Brewton made stops at Florida State, Alabama State, Jacksonville State, and UAB, putting himself on the radar of programs across the South. One Peachtree Ridge coach put it best: “The offers are coming—we just don’t know from where yet.” If Mississippi State was looking for size and strength, they found it in Brewton.

Brayden Paramore (Class of 2027)

When it comes to sleepers in Georgia, few linebackers look as polished as Brayden Paramore. Already holding over 5 Division I offers, Paramore is quickly climbing boards as one of the most underrated defenders in the Southeast.
At 6’2 with athleticism and instincts, his ceiling appears sky-high. Scouts have suggested that Power Five schools should soon be in the mix, and his upcoming visits this fall could be the beginning of a surge in his recruiting stock. Mississippi State may have gotten in early on a linebacker who could become one of the state’s most talked-about defensive prospects.

Declan Delaporte (Class of 2028)

It’s rare for a Class of 2028 athlete to make noise on the varsity level, but Declan Delaporte
has wasted no time in doing just that. Known as a downhill tacklerDelaporte
physicality is already earning him recognition as a difference-maker on defense.
This summer, he’s made visits to Nebraska, Georgia Tech, and Mississippi State, proving that big programs are paying attention despite his young age. With years of development ahead, Delaporte
is shaping up to be one of the early names to watch in his class.

Coach Corey Bell’s Recruiting Eye

Coach Bell’s reputation as one of the nation’s sharpest recruiters—especially when it comes to finding hidden gems—was on display yet again. By bringing in young talents like Brewton, Paramore, and Delaporte
, Mississippi State continues to solidify its recruiting pipeline into Georgia, a state loaded with high school football talent.

This past weekend wasn’t just about the Bulldogs vs. Arizona—it was about the Bulldogs vs. the future. And if Mississippi State can land prospects like these, the future in Starkville could be very bright.
