Bayonne, NJ – In the heart of Hudson County, Bayonne High School is producing a rising star in the Class of 2029. Kereem Horsford, a promising cornerback, is making waves both on and off the field with his relentless work ethic, natural athleticism, and sharp football IQ.
Representing Bayonne High School, Horsford has quickly become a key piece in the Bees’ secondary, locking down receivers and disrupting passing lanes with instinctive play and impressive footwork. Known for his ability to read offenses and break on the ball, he is already gaining attention as one of the top young defensive backs in New Jersey.
But Horsford’s dedication doesn’t stop when the season ends. During the offseason, he sharpens his skills in 7-on-7 and flag football, competing with The Program New Jersey — one of the premier 7v7 teams in the state. This extra commitment helps him stay ahead of the curve, allowing him to face top competition year-round and refine the coverage techniques that make him a standout.
“He’s a competitor,” said one coach from The Program. “Kereem brings intensity every rep. He’s coachable, confident, and committed to getting better every day.”
As a member of the Class of 2029, Horsford still has time to grow and develop — but he’s already on the radar. Whether it’s locking up receivers under the Friday night lights or making plays in the fast-paced 7v7 circuit, Kereem Horsford is a name New Jersey football fans will want to remember.
