Canadian NATIVE 🇨🇦 Standing tall at 6’3” and weighing in at a powerful 240 pounds, Solomon Efunbajo is quickly emerging as one of the most dynamic and versatile players in the Class of 2026. Representing St. Thomas More Chancellors (Connecticut), Efunbajo has become a cornerstone of the team’s success, dominating as both a defensive end/edge rusher and fullback on varsity.
In his most recent season, Efunbajo’s presence on the field was impossible to ignore. Defensively, he racked up 6 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, and over 50 tackles, showcasing elite explosiveness and a relentless motor off the edge. On the offensive side, he proved to be a reliable target out of the backfield, catching 4 passes for 80 yards—a perfect 4-for-4.
“He’s a game-changer,” said one coach. “Solomon brings energy, power, and a work ethic that lifts everyone around him. He doesn’t just play football—he studies it.”
His blend of size, speed, and instinct hasn’t gone unnoticed on the recruiting trail. Efunbajo currently holds offers from Southern Mississippi, Kennesaw State, Sacramento State, Miami (Ohio), Tuskegee University, Minot State, and even the University of British Columbia.
Power Five programs have also taken interest, with Michigan State, Rutgers, Boston College, Massachusetts, Syracuse, and Liberty closely watching his continued development heading into the 2025 season.
Off the field, Solomon is just as unique. When he’s not making tackles or breaking through the line of scrimmage, you’ll likely find him wake-surfing—a surprising but fitting hobby for someone who thrives on balance, timing, and control.
