ATLANTA, GA — July 14, 2025 — The Southern Exposure Camp lit up Atlanta over the weekend with top-tier high school football talent, and among the most talked-about athletes was rising junior Saif Bin-Wahad from Grayson High School. Known for its powerhouse program, Grayson may have uncovered its next star in the versatile playmaker.

At 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds, Bin-Wahad might not tower over defenders, but his speed, vision, and football IQ made him one of the most impactful offensive weapons on the field. His performance throughout the camp affirmed what many in Georgia high school football already believe: Bin-Wahad is a rising name with elite upside.

Coming off a standout season where he posted 780 receiving yards and over 1,500 all-purpose yards, Bin-Wahad showed once again why he’s such a mismatch problem for opposing defenses. Whether lined up in the slot, fielding kick returns, or taking jet sweeps, he consistently created space and broke open plays.

“He’s electric,” said one camp coach. “You can’t coach instincts like his. He’s got a natural feel for the game, and when he gets the ball in his hands, anything can happen.”

Beyond his athleticism, Bin-Wahad’s coachability and leadership set him apart. Camp staff praised his maturity and focus, highlighting his ability to execute under pressure and elevate teammates around him.

Away from the field, the junior adds depth to his persona with an unexpected passion for country music. “Most people don’t expect that from me,” he laughed. “But I love it — something about the stories in the songs just speaks to me.”

With two years still left in his high school career, Saif Bin-Wahad is positioning himself as one of the region’s top Class of 2027 football prospects. And if this weekend in Atlanta was any indication, he’s only beginning to scratch the surface.
