Rising Stars Shine: Honorable Mentions from the 2025 Southern Exposure Camp in Atlanta

Atlanta, GA – July 12, 2025 — The Southern Exposure Camp once again delivered on its promise of showcasing some of the most talented young football prospects in the Southeast. Held in Atlanta, Georgia, the 2025 edition featured a host of underclassmen who proved they are well on their way to stardom. Here are the athletes who earned Honorable Mention status for their performances at the event.


Zeke Douglass – QB – Class of 2027 – Etowah High School

Douglass came into the camp with varsity experience already under his belt and lived up to expectations. The poised quarterback showcased a big-time arm and impressive accuracy, standing tall and calm in the pocket. With his ability to deliver under pressure, Douglass looks ready to build on his stats this fall and continue to grow as a leader for Etowah.


Elijah & Isaiah Reeves – DBs – Class of 2028 – Mountain View High School

The Reeves twins proved they’re a dynamic duo on both sides of the ball. Elijah Reeves flashed versatility by working out at both wide receiver and defensive back, demonstrating great instincts and footwork. Isaiah Reeves, meanwhile, was strictly on lockdown duty at corner and didn’t disappoint—his man coverage skills were elite throughout the camp. Both brothers hold offers from Coastal Carolina, and Isaiah has also scholarship offer from Eastern Kentucky.


Nathan Nunn – DB – Class of 2028 – Walnut Grove High School

Walnut Grove’s Nathan Nunn turned heads with his ball-hawking prowess. The 2028 defensive back showed elite-level ball tracking once the football was in the air. He currently holds a Division I offer from Middle Tennessee State and looks primed to pick up more if he continues this trajectory.


Brayden Doss – QB – Class of 2028 – Chamblee High School

Doss, a returning varsity starter, showed maturity and command under center. With a solid group of skill players around him at Chamblee, he’s set up for a strong sophomore campaign. His consistency and leadership stood out throughout camp, earning the respect of coaches and teammates alike.


Zain Belfield – QB – Class of 2028 – Peachtree Ridge High School

From a school known for producing college and NFL talent, Belfield stood out with his accuracy, polished footwork, and calm demeanor in the pocket. His strong foundation, athletic tools, and approach to the game suggest he’s well on his way to becoming a high-level prospect.


Jett Whitworth – ATH – Class of 2028 – Franklin County High School

An all-around athlete, Whitworth impressed on both sides of the ball. His agility and explosiveness were on full display, making plays at receiver and in the secondary. His versatility makes him a name to remember as recruiting heats up for the 2028 class.


Trevor Burgess – QB – Class of 2028 – Grayson High School

Coming from powerhouse Grayson High, Burgess stood out as one of the most accurate passers at the camp. With a long frame and remarkable patience in the pocket, he showed flashes of a quarterback who could develop into an elite-level prospect over the next few years.


Rhyan Perry Jr – QB – Class of 2029 – Dacula High School

Perry Jr. made a strong impression with his big arm and imposing frame. For a 2029 prospect, his mechanics and confidence were notable. Expect to hear his name a lot more in the coming years as he develops under center at Dacula.


Knox Whitworth – QB – Class of 2029 – Franklin County High School

Another standout from Franklin County, Knox Whitworth had an impressive day throwing the football. His arm strength and size were hard to ignore, and he consistently placed the ball where it needed to be. He’s definitely a 2029 quarterback to keep tabs on.


Alex Granath – QB – Class of 2029 – West Forsyth High School

Granath displayed remarkable patience and accuracy from the quarterback position. For such a young player, his decision-making and field vision were well above his age level. West Forsyth has a budding star in Granath, who will only get better with experience.
