ATLANTA, GA — This weekend, the spotlight turns to Georgia as the Southern Exposure Camp returns to Atlanta, reaffirming its reputation as one of the Southeast’s premier football recruiting showcases. Known for uncovering hidden talent and spotlighting emerging prospects, the camp has become a key stop on the recruiting trail for college coaches and scouts seeking future stars.

While Georgia boasts its share of elite high school football talent, what sets Southern Exposure apart is its regional reach. Top athletes from Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina, Maryland, and the Washington D.C. area will converge in Atlanta, eager to make their mark and earn college attention.

Headlining the event is Travis Burgess, a Class of 2026 four-star quarterback and University of North Carolina commit. Burgess is expected to impress with his precision passing and strong leadership—traits that have made him a cornerstone of UNC’s future offensive plans.

Joining him is KJ Green, a highly touted Class of 2027 athlete with more than 20 Division I offers. Green’s dynamic skill set allows him to excel as a wide receiver, defensive back, and return specialist, making him one of the most versatile prospects in attendance.

Another rising star is Amir McBryde, a 2027 wide receiver from Washington D.C., whose route-running and explosiveness have already earned offers from UNC and a nod from NFL legend Bill Belichick. Scouts are eager to see if he continues his ascent.

Makyree “Dudda” Cross brings big-play potential from the quarterback position. At 6-foot-3, the Class of 2027 standout carries a strong arm and impressive physicality. He enters camp with notable offers from Auburn and several Power Five programs.

Defensive standouts will also be featured prominently, including 2028 linebacker Skylar Alston. With offers from Ohio State, Tennessee, and NC State, Alston’s sideline-to-sideline speed and instincts mark him as a future collegiate impact player.

Twin defensive backs Elijah and Isaiah Reeves, both 6-foot-2 and from the Class of 2028, will be on display as well. Known for their length and athleticism, the brothers already hold offers from Coastal Carolina and are gaining traction as national prospects.

Nathan Nunn, a hybrid safety and nickel defender, rounds out the list of top names with his physical style of play and early recruiting attention from Middle Tennessee State.

Still, it’s not only the headliners who will be chasing breakout moments. Southern Exposure is revered for launching lesser-known athletes into the recruiting spotlight. In previous years, under-the-radar players have left camp with college offers in hand and newfound visibility across scouting networks.

“This camp always brings out the dogs—the ones who are hungry,” said one veteran scout. “You think you know who the stars are, and then a kid from Mississippi or rural Alabama steps in and flips the script. That’s what makes Southern Exposure different.”

With high-level competition, seasoned coaching, and evaluators from top college programs watching closely, this weekend in Atlanta promises to deliver the next wave of Southern football talent—ready to rise.
